Originally from New Westminster, Pierre has lived in the Cowichan Valley since 1993 with his wife of 29 years, Tina, and together they have two adult children who grew up in the area. After graduating from the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a diploma in Operations Management, Pierre worked in construction and owned a spray-painting company. With this early career in construction and his educational background, a move into the real estate industry was a natural transition. He earned his Realtor’s license in 1995 and hasn’t looked back since.
As a top-producing Realtor serving the Cowichan Valley for over 25 years, Pierre’s experience is invaluable. He has personally handled over 800 real estate transactions and overseen approximately 1,400 more that were written by partners or team members. He has also earned numerous awards from RE/MAX including a Lifetime Achievement Award and several Platinum Awards. Over the years, Pierre has worked as a solo agent and on large teams but has recently found the perfect balance in a 50/50 partnership with fellow Realtor John Atkinson.
Pierre’s local experience reaches beyond the real estate industry. As an active member of various charities and community organizations, Pierre strongly believes in giving back to society. He is currently a Director and Head of Safety of the Kiwanis Village Society which runs a 79-unit complex for low-income seniors, and he recently retired from 15 years as a Director and Coach for the Duncan Basketball Association. Pierre also enjoys hiking, biking and traveling with his family.
